People with developmental disabilities and their families should have a choice as to where they live to get the services they wish, whether in group homes, individual housing or in developmental centers. Lanterman is the home of choice for hundreds of Californians with developmental disabilities. It provides “wraparound” services for these individuals: the complete and total range of medical, therapeutic and recreational care. Services such as those provided at Lanterman and other state developmental centers are not available anywhere else.
